How does the offline feature work?
Download your destination's data pack while you have WiFi (at your hotel, airport, etc). This includes full vector maps, all place information, contact numbers, and route data. Once downloaded, everything works without any internet connection. Your GPS still works offline too!
Is the app free?
The app is free to download and explore. Premium features — like 7-day tides, verified contacts, and full itineraries — are available with Insider Access: a one-time 365-day payment, no subscription.
How do I book transfers through the app?
We don't process bookings ourselves — we connect you directly with verified local partners via WhatsApp. This way you get the best prices (no middleman fees) and can communicate directly with your driver. The app shows you available routes, prices, and opens a pre-filled WhatsApp message to the partner.
What languages does the app support?
The app is fully available in English and Portuguese (Brazil). All place descriptions, route information, and interface elements are translated. Partner contacts mostly speak Portuguese, but many also speak English or Spanish.
When is the best time to visit the Rota das Emoções?
Lençóis Maranhenses: June-September (lagoons are fullest after rainy season). Jericoacoara & Preá: July-December (best wind for kitesurfing). Delta: Year-round, but July-October for bird watching. The app shows you seasonal tips for each destination!
