About Lagoinha
Fishing village with red cliffs, coconut palms, and lagoons. Waypoint on the Paracuru-Guajiru downwinder.
Lagoinha combines a half-moon beach with red cliffs and dense coconut groves — the viewpoint angle over the beach is one of Ceará's most photographed natural compositions. Lagoa do Jegue (flat, shallow, tide-independent, with free-roaming donkeys around it) is the corridor's most charming beginner kite spot; Kite-On school (IKO PRO) was founded by the first woman to become an IKO Examiner in kitesurfing history.

There are no ATMs in Lagoinha — withdraw in Paraipaba (11 km) before arriving. Lagoa do Jegue is 5 minutes by buggy from the main beach — walking there is not possible. Local buggy drivers charge R$150–200 for the 2h circuit covering the viewpoint, cliffs, Lagoa das Almecegas, and Lagoa do Jegue — combine the tour with your overnight stay for the best experience.
