Santo Amaro
The other gateway to the Lençóis, on the western side. Quieter than Barreirinhas and the way in to the most isolated lagoons.

Everything we know about the corridor — villages, transfers, tides, winds and itineraries — open and free. Not a tour-operator brochure.
Where do you start?
From São Luís to the kite coast — Maranhão, Piauí and Ceará. The map shows the route's real scale and where we already have coverage to sort out your trip.
Every village has a geographic profile in /vilas and a full editorial guide in /destinos — we keep both.

The gateway to the Lençóis Maranhenses. Where the 4×4s leave for the lagoons and the boat heads to Atins.

A fishing village at the mouth of the Preguiças. Kite, lagoons, and the spot where we already handle your logistics.

The port town of the Parnaíba Delta, the only open-sea delta in the Americas. Base for speedboat tours through the islands and the scarlet-ibis flocks at dusk.

The Sunset Dune, reliable wind, and the most famous village on the coast. The end (or start) of the route.

The kite beach just east of Jeri — aligned wind, more room, fewer people. Where serious kitesurfers go to train.
We're a couple who live in the corridor. The guide is open and grows village by village — free, always. Ponte is how we pay the bills: brokerage with a transparent fee, never markup.

Field-tested itineraries, plus a smart planner tuned to your pace.
3 states · 28 villages · São Luís ↔ JeriThe corridor's mother-line — lençóis, delta and dunes in a single stroke. It's the one we walk most in the field, and the best way to grasp the whole Rota.
Open itineraryThe same corridor in reverse: it starts at dusk in Jeri and ends in the Lençóis lagoons, not at the sea.
Little time, maximum landscape — the essentials of the dunes and lagoons for anyone with just a week.
The three itineraries — field-tested, ready to go.
The Route has no single "high season" — it depends on what you want to see. The windows we actually recommend:
Full lagoons — peak water and crossings on foot.
Jul – SepInsider: from Apr to May the lagoons already fill with far fewer people.
Steady wind in Atins, Preá and Jeri — flat water all day.
Aug – JanWind is strongest from Sep–Nov.
Dry season and the scarlet-ibis flight at dusk.
Jun – DecTours are good year-round; the ibis flight is most intense in the dry winter.
Lagoons + kite together — the best of both worlds.
Jun – AugOnly here for kite? Stretch it to Nov with lower lagoons.
Guidance dates, checked in the field — they don't depend on guaranteed sun every day.
The field knowledge that isn't in the brochures — genuinely up to date.
When the crossing to Atins opens and when the Lençóis lagoons are full.
See tidesThe right months and hours for kite in Atins, Preá and Jeri.
See windsBest season, money, connectivity and what really fits in your bag.
See tipsToday's tides and winds — genuinely updated, every day.
Maps, contacts and tides — works offline, deep in the dunes, no signal.
It is. All the content — villages, transfers, tides, winds, itineraries — is open and genuinely up to date. We only make money when you ask the Ponte to handle your trip.
It's us organizing your trip (transfers, stays, tours) for a transparent fee — brokerage, not markup. You see what you pay. Today we cover Atins; for the rest we talk on WhatsApp.
Not yet. The Ponte starts in Atins (1 of 28 villages) and grows along the corridor. Where we don't cover, the guide stays complete and we still talk with you.
No. The website is the complete guide. The app is a bonus for offline use out in the dunes.
