Practical intel
Bring enough cash for your entire stay — there are no ATMs in Atins. Starlink has arrived at the main pousadas, but cell signal is Vivo 4G only and often unreliable. The speedboat from Barreirinhas takes ~1h; the regular boat passes through Mandacaru and Caburé in ~3h — if you have time, the scenic journey is worth it. Book accommodation well in advance in high season (Oct-Dec): the best 30 rooms sell out weeks ahead.
